Our Story
Guatemala Summer Records was born from a spark of inspiration during a 2022 mission trip to the heart of Guatemala. Immersed in the vibrant, rural landscape, our founder, Jaredith Mize, experienced a life-changing revelation: a calling to unite their passion for music with their skills in marketing. Two years later, in 2024, that vision became a reality with the founding of Guatemala Summer Records.
Our label is dedicated to empowering artists who share our commitment to creating positive, impactful music. We proudly launched with the signing of our first band, Hand of the Wicked, a Christian metal group with a powerful message. But our vision goes beyond just music. Rooted in the spirit of the very trip that inspired our creation, we are committed to giving back to the communities that touched our hearts. A portion of our profits supports orphans impoverished areas of Guatemala, honoring the profound connection we feel with that beautiful country and people..
